What days do you normally ship?
We ship Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays - weather permitting.
How long does shipping take?
We ship all of our geckos using overnight shipping services. The shipping costs (within the contiguous U.S.) are included in the price of each animal. Please inquire for shipping costs to Alaska.
How do you pack your reptiles for shipping, and what shipping service do you use?
We pack our geckos using specially-designed, insulated shipping boxes with heat packs or cold packs as needed (depending on the climate that we are shipping from and shipping to). The shipping service we use Reptiles Express (which utilizes Fed Ex Express Overnight).
Do you ship your reptiles to every state in the Continental US?
Yes we do. Prices for the Contiguous U.S. is included in the price of each animal. Please inquire for shipping prices to Alaska.
What time of year do your clutches normally hatch?
We have hatchlings in the spring and summer; they will be ready for sale mid- to late summer and we will normally sell out by December.
Do you do reservations?
We do not do reservations, but try our best to accommodate all requests.
Do any states have ownership restrictions on reptiles that you breed?
Yes. Hawaii law prohibits the import of any non-native species. For that reason, we do not ship to Hawaii.
Can I reach out to you with care questions after I've purchased one of your reptiles?
Absolutely! Customer Service is #1 with Moonbeam Geckos. We pride ourselves in being available to our customers before, during, and after purchase.
What is your reptile keeping/breeding background?
We have been in the reptile keeping and breeding business for over 45 years. Jungle John has a degree in zoo keeping, supervised a zoo for 7 years, and has been a professional reptile "edutainer" for over 35 years.
Is shipping included in your pricing?
Yes! The price of shipping is included in the price of your animal(s) (Contiguous United States only; please inquire for shipping prices to Alaska). For the care and safety of our animals, they are shipped Fed Ex Priority Overnight.
